assisted in post-recovery effort. |

Pachyderm CWO Jeff Brockmeier lifted a downed Super-C from
Ripcord and flew it to Camp Evans. The bird Jeff was flying had all but JP-4 fumes drained to allow him to lift the other aircraft, but after the successful lift, he didn't have quite enough to make it all the way to Evans POL and crashed a few hundred yards from touchdown. |
